And Beyond Fashion Show

At Amsterdam Fashion Week, fashion label And Beyond showed their latest collection, called "Last Night of Magic, Where Were You?" It was a completely different experience from other shows you've ever seen. No catwalk, no models, but ten glass cubes containing mannequins.

During the show the collection went up in smoke, as the glass cubes filled with smoke, making the clothes disappear. The smoke theme was also reflected in the beautiful prints in the designs.

Together with a great group of friends, I produced the show and constructed the set.

Production Manager for Keren Cogan

Starting November 2009 Taking Care of Business joins forces with Keren Cogan, who is the first producer selected to operate under the unique Phanta Vision Producer Label.

Gijs Determeijer is Production Manager for Producer Keren Cogan, starting this month on a final exam film by director Galed Hamed for the NFTA, and many projects planned for 2010.

Lowlands Bingo

Lowlands Bingo is the ultimate festival game: win beers from your friends! For Lowlands Festival 2009 we transformed the game Urban Bingo to a special festival edition:

Each player has a unique card and looks for the festival stereotypes depicted on it. If you get 5 in a row, all other players have to give you a beer!

We made Lowlands Bingo for Oxfam Novib, you can get the game for free at their compound on the festival grounds, next to the X-Ray tent.

Het Groene Hart Campaign for Vandejong with Suzanne Karsters

For Suzanne Karsters I produced a photo shoot for a campaign for Vandejong. We made 14 pictures from sunrise to sunset in one spot, only changing the models and huge props.

It was an awesome day, even though it rained a bit: we had to get up at 4.30, we were covered in mud, the wind blew away all the props, there was an obstacle course to be taken with huge props, yes....

Nieuwe Groeten Uit... Campaign with Lard Buurman

For Vandejong we produced three images with a large pop up card. It is the start of a campaign for FOAM, ANP and het Nationaal Museum to invite Dutch people to take pictures of Holland 2009, to replace the standard imagery of tulips, windmills, and cheese.

Mobile Game Quest Award Show

For Waag Society's Creative Learning Lab, I produced and designed the award show, in which the best location based game designed by teenagers is awarded.

The show was hosted by Dutch Hip Hop Collective the Fringe, who also performed during the award show.

The event was held in Pakhuis de Zwijger.
